History
1982:
Mrs. Keller founded the publishing house R. Keller. The first publications dealt with the basics of programming of CNC machine tools, geometrical and technological basics as well as mathematical principles like trigonometry.
1984:
The first software „Angstfreier Einstieg in die CNC-Technik“ (Fearless introduction into CNC technology) was released by R. Keller. This software was conceived and designed by the vocational school teachers Mr. Keller and Mr. Grossmann.
1985:
Grammar school teacher Werner Buhr developed the first EPL1 simulator on Apple Ile. Over time, lots of other keyboards and simulators were were added based on DOS computers.
1986:
The company R. & S. KELLER GmbH was founded.
1988:
The software GKE+CAM received great attention and was a huges sales success. SIEMENS became aware of KELLER and a long-term partnership was established.
12. October 1990:
The “KELLER Technik-Centrum” was officially opened. In addition to offices and training rooms, a workshop with 6 CNC machines and 6 different CNC controls is the centerpiece of the new center.
1992:
The first CNCplus machine was built.
1995:
The successors of CNCplus are CAMplus for production and Qplus for qualification.
1999:
Cooperation with SIEMENS for the development of interactive, multimedia learning systems.
2000:
Start of the partnership with DaimlerChrysler.
2001:
KELLER-software for YOUNG and OLD:
Our software not only makes young people happy, but also older workers. Especially those who so far „only“ produced on conventional machines and can now be unafraid of modern CNC technology.
2003:
From version 3.0 onwards there are 4 education levels: Shopfloor, DIN/PAL, Controls and CAD/CAM. This structure can still to be found in our products today.
2004:
Start of the partnership with Haas

1. November 2007:
Opening of the HTEC + KELLER Competence Center in Minsk, Belarus.
14. December 2010
Partnership with HEIDENHAIN
The HIT project was launched at a major meeting here in Wuppertal.
By the turn of year 2011/2012:
The couple R. and S. Keller retires from the business of the company. The CNC KELLER GmbH is founded.
since 2012:
Intensified activities on the Chinese market
April 2016:
Our first „Andwendertreffen“ (user meeting) took place.
July 2016:
Our new product SYMplus™ with plusCARE™ with integrated update service is launched.
October 2016:
We are now a training company in the fields of:

Opening of the KELLER.Academy - our new training center.
September 15, 2017
CNC KELLER 35th anniversary - the event „next level“ was a great success.
We introduced our new virtual workshop in combination with VR glasses - the „next level“ for CNC training.
